How do I relaunch without losing rankings?
A move can go well, but nobody can guarantee unchanged rankings.
Short answer
Before a relaunch you need a complete inventory of your URLs and a map from old pages to new ones. Permanent redirects, updated internal links, canonicals and a new sitemap help search engines understand the move. Temporary fluctuations are still possible.
What you can check now
- Collect your old pages, images, downloads and service pages.
- Redirect every old URL directly to the matching new URL.
- Check redirects, canonicals, the sitemap and 404 pages after launch.
Please note: This is a technical checklist. It is not legal advice and does not promise any particular visibility.
