Reporting Illegal Content on a Website Hosted by Lumeya

Lumeya (Luminant Mind e.U., Vienna) hosts websites for small businesses. The respective business is responsible for the content (see the website's legal notice). We do not monitor the websites generally. If you believe that content on a Lumeya website is illegal, you can report it here (Art. 16 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, Digital Services Act). The procedure is free of charge and works entirely electronically.

Please report only illegal content, for example: copyright or trademark infringements, violations of personality rights (e.g. photos of you without permission), insult, defamation, fraud or deception, hate speech, content harmful to minors or other criminal content. For questions about products, prices or appointments, please contact the business directly.

How to Report Content

Please use the form at the bottom of this page: state the exact address (URL) of the content, describe it and explain why you believe it is illegal; name and email address are optional, but without an email address we cannot send you an acknowledgement of receipt or a decision.

What Happens after Your Report

  1. Acknowledgement of receipt: If you have provided an email address, you will receive an email with a reference number immediately.
  2. Review by a human: We process the report promptly, diligently, objectively and without arbitrariness. We do not make automated decisions; automated tools at most help with sorting out spam beforehand. If necessary, we will ask you for additional information or give the business an opportunity to comment, without disclosing your identity unless legally required.
  3. Decision: We will inform you by email whether we have removed, blocked or left the content in place, and give brief reasons. As a rule, we decide within 7 days, and immediately in case of obvious danger to persons.
  4. Remedies: If you disagree with the decision, you can reply to us within 14 days; we will then review the decision again. Irrespective of this, you may go to court and lodge a complaint with the Digital Services Coordinator in Austria (KommAustria: RTR – DSA in Austria).

Misuse of the Reporting Procedure

Anyone who repeatedly submits manifestly unfounded reports may be excluded from using the report form for a reasonable period. We will warn you beforehand.

The emails we send you (acknowledgement of receipt and decision, with reference number, reported address and reasons) are kept for 12 months as proof of dispatch; if you have a Lumeya account under the same address, the retention period for account addresses applies.
