Legal and fair dealing

Accessibility statement

Luminant Mind e.U. strives to make the Lumeya platform (https://web.lumeya.ai) accessible. This statement follows the information requirements of the Austrian Accessibility Act (Barrierefreiheitsgesetz, BaFG) and Directive (EU) 2019/882. As a micro-enterprise, Lumeya is currently exempt from the obligations of the BaFG for services; we publish this statement voluntarily.

Description of the Service

Lumeya is an online service with which businesses create and publish a website in conversation with an assistant and maintain it in their account (texts, images, enquiries from the contact form, subscription).

Compliance Status

The platform is partially compliant with the requirements of EN 301 549 (clause 9, corresponding to WCAG 2.1 Level AA). We therefore describe Lumeya as having low barriers, not as barrier-free.

What we already implement:

  • A "Skip to content" link at the top of the page; the language of the pages is declared in the HTML.
  • Labelled form fields and error messages in text form on most pages.
  • Alternative texts for images; purely decorative images are marked as such.
  • No flashing content; motion is reduced when this is set in the operating system.
  • We automatically check the customer websites built by Lumeya for contrast, heading structure, landmarks and alternative texts.

Non-Accessible Content

An automated check (axe-core) and a code review in September 2026 revealed the following limitations. We fix these points on an ongoing basis and keep this list up to date:

  • Website editor: Texts in the preview can currently be edited only with a mouse, not with the keyboard; some controls have no label for screen readers.
  • Chat "Ask Lumeya": When opened, focus does not move to the input field, the Escape key does not close the window, and on mobile devices the keyboard can jump behind the window. Screen readers sometimes read out the entire history instead of only the new answer.
  • Onboarding conversation: Your own messages are sometimes announced twice; the "Your briefing" overview does not retain focus.
  • Contrast: Some notices (green on light green) and borders of input fields do not reach the required contrast values.
  • Small screens and magnification: On very narrow screens (320 pixels), some pages (offer, website overview) scroll horizontally, and long words in large headings are cut off.
  • Focus management: After certain steps (introduction, cancellation, withdrawal, legal texts in the overview), focus does not move to the new location.
  • A full review with screen readers and voice control is scheduled.

If you encounter a barrier, we will help you personally by email, and you can complete all steps with our assistance.

Preparation of this Statement

This statement was prepared on 26 September 2026 on the basis of a self-assessment with automated testing (axe-core, 26 app pages and 489 customer website variants).

Enforcement Procedure

The competent market surveillance authority for digital accessibility in Austria is the Federal Social Welfare Office (Sozialministeriumservice): Market surveillance for digital accessibility. Consumers can file a complaint there if a service is not accessible.
